This page explains how Shards Cybersecurity uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. The short version: we set no advertising or tracking cookies at all. The only thing this site stores on your device is a single browser entry remembering that you dismissed our cookie notice — a strictly necessary function that needs no consent under GDPR. Our analytics is cookieless (see section 3). Because nothing here requires consent, there is no accept/reject choice to make — this page simply discloses what runs.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information.

3. Third-party services that load on this site
We use a small number of third-party services on this marketing website. None of them sets cookies on shardscybersecurity.io, and the two embeds only load after you click to load them — no request reaches the provider until you do:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless beacon (
static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js) that counts page views per route on every page. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no personal data; GDPR-friendly by design and does not require consent. - Google Maps embed — only on the /contact page, behind a “Load map” button. Once you load it, the iframe comes from Google's domains and may set Google's own cookies subject to Google's privacy policy. If you never click, nothing is requested from Google.
- Microsoft Bookings calendar — only on the /contact page, behind a “Load the booking calendar” button. Once you load it, the calendar comes from Microsoft's domains and may set Microsoft's own cookies subject to Microsoft's privacy statement. If you never click, nothing is requested from Microsoft.

4. How to control cookies
You can clear the stored notice-dismissal at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely; see the About Cookies site for instructions.
